Phillip is the son of VFA president, Bill Connors. Born along with his twin brother on July 28, 1980, Phillip proudly carries on the Colorado Native tradition of the Family. After graduating from Smoky Hill High School in 1998, Phillip went on to attend the University of Northern Colorado, University of Colorado, and Kaplan Business School. He recently welcomed his first child, Mia, to the Connors’ Fold.
Phillip joined Value Financial Advisers in 2011. Prior to that Phillip spent 3 years with T. Rowe Price, one of the U.S. 10 largest Mutual Fund Companies, as a retirement specialist inside their ‘High Value’ Department. Phillip earned his FINRA Series 7 & 66 licenses and advised and serviced clients across the country regarding investment allocation in their retirement accounts. Phillip has also added his Colorado Life Insurance License this year to be able to meet his client’s needs on a more impactful level.
Phillip continues to be extremely active while not at work. Year round you can find him playing soccer, softball, golf, volleyball, training mixed martial arts or just running around the park. Phillip maintains that being active helps offset the stress of the markets; no wonder he is in such good shape. He also has spent time volunteering as a soccer coach for many different ages. Phillip strives to see improvement and understanding in those he helps, including his clients.
